Beautiful finish, Teen. I love your soft colors.

Your blocks are amazing too, Joe'smom!

This is one of my favourites. I'm almost regretting bailing on finishing. But I just couldn't face all those tiny pieces. The illusion of being on point is amazing. I imagine using solid sashing between the blocks will make them stand out more, but the original setting is also genius.

Thanks, everyone, for your encouraging comments!

I made a commander's decision and dropped the wide sashing,it was making me crazy. Don't need that

I contacted IceBlossom and told her we miss her. They are doing ok but haven't gotten moved yet, yet all her fabric is packed. Talk about a rock and a hard place!
Kalama, I set aside that NY mystery so I could concentrate on this one. I thought about that wide sashing, too, but I'm not as creative as you are, and I didn't want to face all the other decisions that would have to be made if I made the sashing narrower, LOL.

Thanks for the update on IceBlossom!

    Joesmom beautiful

The black looks great. Even after seeing pictures, my brain picture didn’t do it justice.

I got my cutting done yesterday and everything laid out. I came well short of having enough of the neutrals I'd used in the quilt, so I scrounged for some that would be compatible with the palette.

This morning I tried a couple of QSTs, and got one of two wrong, so now I know to be more careful with positioning. Now to sew this baby together! I love how methodical Bonnie is with her reveals, one manageable step at a time.
