...especially when those blocks are just known blocks and shapes that no one owns.

So, playing around further, I've discovered two things:

    1) I need 4 more chevrons
    2) I need a bucket-load more blue HSTs.

    (I'm doing the half-size.)

However, I'm liking the variations in the green blocks, and the brown is starting to grow on me, which is a definite plus lol.

Put some blocks up on the design wall to see how it would look and I like it. I still have 14 pinwheel blocks to finish putting them together but the red blocks are all done. The borders look tedious to put together but I shall plug along on it.

I appreciate that Bonnie said that “most” of her blocks matched. “Most” of mine do too! LOL

    Pagzz, love your colors!

    That's looking wonderful, AlvaStitcher.

I hope to get a good day of sewing in today, may be finish up clue 7 and make my quarter star units.

Mine is assembled - no idea when it will get quilted though . . .

I worked on it while doing some machine embroidery - made it seem a lot less tedious.

Love, love, love your colors Macybaby. I have been lurking, looking at everyone's colors and progress. I signed up with Bonnie Hunter for this mystery, made the first step and my printer failed to work. My DD is bringing me a printer this next week end I can finish printing off her instructions and make the quilt. Thank you all for sharing your work. I love and admire Bonnie Hunter and all her energy designing and traveling and quilting. Wow.

I have it (Good Fortune) and On Ringo Lake on my bucket list to do this year...at least the tops. DH says we cannot afford to have them quilted by a LA, but I am going to sew the tops and see where we are then.

Macybaby, I'm so impressed. Your ability to stick to something amazes me. This is mine and it is begging to become a UFO. I've found some measuring mistakes and of course my chevron mistake. So I call this the Chinese Keyhole Quilt.
