Franky finished at 43" wide by 70" tall. He did NOT want to be bound, probably because the backing fabric was a tight squeeze widthwise.
Franky is hanging on the wall already.
I only embellished Franky himself. He has eyes, spider neck knobs, spider web buttons and a spider and web necktie. His eyes are a little beady but I love the buttons enough that I'm willing to overlook that.

This is the label

The next character will not be for a while yet. I'm looking forward to seeing what others have come up with. Any new or recently finished projects? Or some progress reports?

Alas!! I am baaaaaack and on the QB!!!!
I'm so happy to see that Franky is fully "dressed" now, with lots of "showtime" this season! Long, tall and handsome!
I bet you SMILE every time you see him and hopefully he is hanging in your home so that you do see him quite often!!
W4Me ... Your embellishments are perfect! The "button buttons" couldn't have been a better choice! Eyes are beady but not too much, besides, isn't Franky's supposed to be? Neck knobs are priceless. And he's ever-so dapper, with a necktie!! Your scrappy binding, just seems to "right" for this project. Your fighting with him to do so, was well worth it!

Thank you QuiltE, and welcome back, for a short time.
Actually, Franky's eyes are beads, not buttons. Why I said buttons I have no idea. I bought several of the beads from Etsy and she threw in some adorable mummy beads.
Franky is visible every time I come in the front door. Also, every time I walk from one end of the house to the other and, yes, I smile when I see him. I also find myself apologizing frequently for how long I left him in a box. He doesn't seem to have taken it personally, though.
I agree with QuiltE, where is everyone? Surely there are some snowman, or penguin, or Santa projects in the works for Christmas.
And I expect to see some progress on Miss Peep and her meadow for Spring.
