Oksewglad I hope you join us, them I might not feel so far behind the rest of the group.

GrannyQ sending good thoughts your way.

Anael you just can't stop eagle eye QuiltE from finding a "design modification" in your block. It was always meant to be that way wasn't it ??

It is nice to be back chatting with you all, things are settling down for me..

I pieced E1 and it ended up in the trash, so back to square one and applique..

I finished another 5 blocks yesterday. I love my Fridays off. I was planning to do 4 blocks but that meant the rows were uneven and I just couldn't have that.

I have 3 more fabrics with copper on the way and will likely wait until they arrive so I can add more variety.

Do you know how hard it is to find an Insane block which can be done with only two fabrics? If I'm going to put Insane blocks into my Jane I will have to find some as Jane blocks only use two fabrics.

Great pics CarrieM ... Looks like you have a really nice new sewing room. Looks like a perfect place for you and your girls to sew together. Here's to the first stitches .... soon!

Is that orange on the walls? So are you adding your purple and green for the finshing touches?

Woo hoo carriem. A new space. It's wonderful when you can design it yourself and know where you want everything to go. Looks like you have lots of storage, too. Happy sewing.

QuiltE--The orange is "juicy cantaloupe". I am sure that purple and green will work their way into the room sometime. I have plans to make a quilt just for that room using the new Farmer's Wife book....colors will include the wall color, the color of the cutting table cabinet, and probably a shade of purple and green.
