Teen, awesome border. That was nice out of the block thinking. And, your border is done in such fun colors.

teen, lovely sunshine boarder around the pig block. Do you plan a sashing, or not? I think I am going to use a white picket fence outside boarder, but still thinking about a lighter sashing. Thanks.

    Thank you, ladies...

Jane...I'm not sure yet on sashing but I think it will be just filler strips between blocks where needed. I'm planning on doing different size blocks if a I can. I love the fence outer border idea, tho. I may consider that, too. Good idea!!

Wow! Just read through this thread and am sorry I missed it the first of the month, but better late than never. Please count me in too. I have never done a BOM but this one seems doable, fun, uses scraps, and a great group of like minded individuals to "work" with, plus I love a farm! I have had a flock of chickens for the past five years. Currently have 12 who should start laying any day now. Will get busy in the next few days and work up Joy the Pig. I like the idea of QAYG and think I will give that a try.
Simply love all the blocks and variations shown so far.
Thanks to NZquilter for starting the thread

I think after seeing all the tails I like this thinner one the best. You people are so inventive and smart.

Hi Murphy! Glad you made it to the BOM show and tell. Now show off your little pretty too, okay?
Teen, your plan on the borders are right on the mark for original designing. Very cute.
Thanks anngelAnne, It was all I had to work on the piglet.
I am chomping at the bit to make the next animal.
