    I know this isn't for the farm quilt, but as there are many chicken farmers and lovers here, so I wanted to share it. I just finished making this stuffed toy hen for my daughter's 1st birthday next month. It was surprisingly easy to make and really enjoyable! I used an old McCall's pattern from the 70's.

    Great pig block JJBlaine. Yes! A new grandbaby, boy or girl needs to have a farm quilt!

    NZquilter, you are multi-talented. You Chicken is darling. I just know your daughter is going to love her.

    Just a little over a week to go before the new block comes out. That's right, I know we are all ready for the next block. lol

    How cute! I really like the cloudy sky you used. Very fun to see all of the scrap fabric everyone is using. I say to myself," Oh I have that fabric. Or, I remember that one from so and so's quilt I did."
