    My extra October block---the pumpkin and how they all look together now. It will end up an art quilt for sure.

    Sjens, tell us about the stitching around the upper left light-colored leaves. Did you use a heavier thread? It looks bold and beautiful. All your blocks are lovely. It's going to be a stunning quilt.

    All of my applique around the leaves is a blanket stitch using Gutermann 100% cotton thread. The same thread I use for piecing. I am really loving everyone of these blocks.
    Teen, I really like how you did your pumpkin block -- the colors are great.

    For the first time ever, I own Rick rack. Lol....2 colors even and 2 sizes...lol!! I had to control myself and not buy one in each color. Pumpkin is done and eager for November block...
