I just wanted to thank NZ for posting the link for the Turkey block. I hope to get started on all of these blocks in the next couple of weeks as I am finally caught up on the Bonnie Hunter Good Fortune.

I know, it is quiet. I was hoping for another surprise block but I guess one for the New Year is just as good.

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!

I think many of us are busy with holidays. I know for myself I haven't sewn since Thanksgiving! I really, really want to sew again! Hopefully soon.

NZ just lock yourself in your sewing room and sew your little heart out. Everyone else needs to get their priorities in order. Sewing then gifts, dinner etc. lol. I figured it would be slow till new years.

The day after Christmas and the time before New Years just drags and drags to me. I have wandered into my sewing room about 6 times today, straightened a little, sewed a little. Looked at UFO's alot. Nothing seems to inspire me. Oh for the first when a new block appears to jolt the imagination.

I haven't done the cow block yet but that project box is packed away already. My house has been sold and my escrow closes Feb 1st....or sooner....so I packed up the sewing room. I did, however, clearly label my sewing boxes so I can get to them as our home is being built. I'll be living in our RV for 4-6 mos, which will be inside our huge workshop we built this last year...I packed my sewing stuff for easy access to active projects. Took some thinking to organize this so hopefully I'll catch up in February. OMGosh....I'm finally moving!!! Woohoo!

Good news on your house selling, Teen! Hopefully everything in escrow goes smoothly for you. You sound so organized in your packing too. But, wow, I couldn't live in an RV for months on end!
