toverly, Great block. Your Hen is so cute.

I am so far behind. I need to work on catching up. The BOM didn't quite go how I thought it would. And, I just came off the Farm Block Swap here on the board. So, I had a pre-conceived notion of what I thought this would "look" like. So not sure if I want to change the blocks or just go ahead and finish the blocks exactly as is. I know I need to come up with a plan and execute it. I am falling further and further behind.

I have really like the last few blocks. So, I guess I just need to keep moving and see where it takes me.

I had a preconceived idea of this BOM too, Judith. I nearly gave up, but then I noticed that my two year old loves the blocks on the designwall and was 'watching' the process. I'm going to be giving this one to her.

I finished my hen. Hopefully I'll be able to post a picture soon.

Toddler approved is great Nzquilter. I'm glad to know it is catching her attention.

Toverly....your quilt is going to be adorable. I love the sashing fabric with the white fence. Your hen looks fabulous!

Thanks y'all. I am so glad this quilt impresses a toddler, Nzquilter. I keep thinking toddler when I make the blocks. It seems perfect for a child just learning about farms. I think that's why I keep pushing for pictorial blocks.

I didn't care for the "Fun on the Farm" chicken block so I made my own from some free coloring pages.

Looks great Jenn, I love the feet. Good job. I am thinking of changing up some depending on how the rest of the quilt plays out. I have it already made up in my mind. But I will wait and see what surprises are around the corner. Being a southern gal, I may just have to have a cotton boll block.
