I hope QuiltnNan doesn't mind, I blatantly copied her grass idea. I loved the idea of the pumpkin sitting in the grass.

My pumpkin is done until I quilt it down to the backing. I truly loved the pumpkin. I am so putting this in my quilt.

I am also keeping the background blue the same in all the blocks. Kind of looks like a blue before dusk or before it rains. I think I have enough in stash if I'm careful with it.

I'm not going to do the turkey. He's cute and I will make a final decision on him at the end. But, I think I'm going to replace him with a Rooster. So, I will either make the hen or the Rooster next.

No brown for me. I have like 7small pieces of brown fabric in stash that I use in applique for making trees, branches, etc. I think I have enough for this quilt from stash. Not even my hen is going to be brown. Maybe whites and yellows. Hm, I might have to rethink the no brown, I might need some for the rooster. I will see what I can come up with. I can always start a different block while I'm looking and deciding.

If I had realized there were 88 pieces in this 12 1/2 inch block, I would have appliqued a tractor.

Wannabe, Woah, 88 pieces. I am not looking forward to that. I love the fabrics you used. Looks like the tractor is going to be doing a little night mowing. I know here in Florida, to beat the heat, we've done a little mowing at dusk a time or two or three. lol
