My own opinion.......I think most are disappointed because the first block was an animal and many were expecting all farm animals, not farm related things. Trust me, from growing up on a farm, it takes a lot more than just the animals to make a farm. I am enjoying the blocks inspite of the fact my first love is animals. I appreciate the work and time that is going into creating this quilt first by the person that is designing it. And second by those that are sticking with it, attempting each block and adding their personal touch. Its a lot of work. And its the game, the doing something together, the social aspect that really counts first and we have lovely people here that are doing amazing work.

Plus the fact you can't please everyone all the time but it doesn't stop us from trying, lol. Great job all!!

Cute sheep block! I am still downloading each block, and may make them all at some point.

I like the sheep block. I think I'm going to make matt the sheepblock patchwork like Joy the pig.

NZ, I'm with you, I think this simple sheep is going to be soooooo cute when finished.

I finished the Farmer's Daughter block and think I got a little carried away LOL I did make the large block but will put that on the back of the quilt. I can't remember who posted SS hanging the smaller block quilt on the line, but I just had to go with that. I still want to find some clothespins? The second picture is just the small quilt that I worked on this am when I couldn't sleep... I 'tied' the quilt.

So cute, QuiltnNan!! Adorable and so creative with the use of all the different fabrics to create a backdrop scene. Cute cute cute!,

Judith...I love your idea to create sheep block like the piggy. So doing this...I hope you don't mind me running with your idea.. It's a cute block but could use some sprucing up a bit...

QuiltnNan, I love your block. I think it is awesome! And, the little quilt is just darling. I adore the Sue pattern you used. That little pinafore is just so sweet.
