NZQuilter -- I remember when I was pregnant one of the "how to" books said your body is going through the equivalence of climbing Mt Everest. After that, I never felt guilty if I was tired and had to rest!

Every farm needs a barn cat for the mice population. I'll put the eyes and face details on once all the blocks are done. This is to take the place of the dress block.

NZ, Omgoodness, So Adorable!!! I love your kitty and mouse. I love that you chose to do blue for the kitty too.

I'm waiting for the last two blocks to come out. I want to add a cat and a dog to my farm also. It just depends on what they are going to do for the last two blocks. I was trying to keep my block count to 12. But, will consider doing 15 if need be.

My granddaughter Emmalee, is here visiting with her family this week. And, was very enthralled with my blocks on the design wall. So, I'm going to take that as a good sign.

Ah, your granddaughter just gave your quilt the best stamp of approval, Judith! Kids are so honest and the best testers! Your quilt does look terrific!

You don't think my cat is too blue, do you? I really wanted to try for a light kitty, but I don't have much grey fabrics. I tried to stay with the light blues, almost blue-grey fabrics.

I was really hoping we would have a bonus block today. Ah well, I guess I can wait for Saturday!

Why thank you. No, I think your kitty is absolutely purfect. And, the mouse is the icing on the cake.
