I finally got my step 2 pictures. Primary color is blue, then second color is pink, and background will be whites.

Just checking for step 3, in the sewing mood today. Beautiful sunny day yesterday, turned to wind in the late afternoon and woke up to about an inch of snow! Now the sun's out and it's melting....the yard is getting watered.

I love everyone's stars and the color combos you're choosing. I have not started yet; but will soon as I am going to need a) a special quilt and b) something to escape to.

On March 11, I was blessed with my 2nd beautiful grand daughter from one of my twins sons. On April 10 my other twin son announced that his wife is pregnant! She goes to doctor tomorrow and will find out due date but we are estimating the end of December or early January 2016. Not to forget my 6 year old grand daughter who is my best friend and sewing buddy- we've got some sewing to do!

The 6 years old has the first quilt I made and several others as well. The one month old already has 3...lol The new one will never worry for a quilt either #Blessed

    Here we go!!

    STEP 3

    6 4” squares secondary color

    6 4” squares background color

    12 3 ½” secondary color

    12 3 ½” background color

Sew 12 HST’s using your background and secondary colors. Please keep in mind the directions I am providingare based on 3 ½” squares and HST’s.Pleaseadjust as needed based on the size quilt you are making.

Each unit is made of 3 HST’s, 3 background squares and 3secondary squares and will measure 9 ½” unfinished. Make four of these units.

Have fun and share lots of pictures!!

Pretty color combos folks! I'm still in the beginning stages, but I'm doing pinks for my main color, with aquas/turquoise as my secondary, and black & white (more white) for the backgrounds.
