Well, I'm starting 2... I'm experimenting with the multi/dark squares...and the dark/med blue will be a donated one, I think...I managed to find some neutral scraps at a quilt shop the other day..didn't think I'd be using them for this project...

Thanks, I sewed the HST the way you said to and it came out fine..I went one step further and made quarter hst's and they look so cute...oooooh, the thunder & lightning is happening right over my head and it's frightening..We have a tornado watch until 11...I'm not used to having that kind of warning....I hope it passes sooner than 11..
I think I'll go cut some squares to keep my mind off it...

I'm glad it worked out well for you. I was lazy about the smaller leftover triangles and just tossed them. I would have made myself crazy sewing tiny hsts!

You must be getting the weather we had yesterday-- crazy loud thunderstorms and RAIN. It came down cats and dogs, but then today was lovely.

Honchey, love your multi/dark primary choice. I was thinking about making a second too with a similar idea, with multi/florals. :-) But just thinking about it. Maybe later. It will be fun to see how yours turns out. Keep posting pictures! :-)

Here's the latest during a Quality Control inspection.

Gracie isn't sure if she likes the fact I haven't put all the blocks together yet. She doesn't understand my decision to hold off until I make more blocks and can rearrange them to my liking. She wants to be sure I don't forget. (Poor Gracie was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism today so she's a bit temperamental due to her diet change.)

This is mine so far... I think I'm a little farther than the group. I had tons of squares to begin with but it looks like I'll actually have to cut more pink squares to finish. It really uses a lot of them! This is such a fun project.

Janice love the colors. Sorry to hear about your kitty.
I have a quality control kitty too. Can't layout the quilt cause she is in the middle of it
