I have been so busy with company coming and going I am still on the second step! I will catch up though, maybe be in a couple of months though. I am tracking along watching what you all are doing and drooling. So many pretty color combinations!

Mine has been set aside for a few weeks due to a health scare for my DH, then company, then selling the contents of our double garage (that was filled with Christmas knick-knacks, tins, extra dishes from storage lockers, etc). Hopefully this next week will be a lot calmer! Can't wait to see mine come together in the next couple of weeks......

Because everyone needs a laugh. So I have decided to quilt this quilt. Watched many utubes and bought a walking foot. Now it took me an hour yes an hour to go around a 3 inch square. I'm thinking how can anyone get a quilt done? Well after looking at this I realize that the foot isn't resting on the material. Hope everyone has a wonderful and safe weekend. Kathryn

lolol Yeah, that's worth a laugh!! :-p I don't know what's wrong with my walking foot? I'll have to check that out, maybe you gave me a clue. I used it for awhile and it worked fine. I made a couple of baby quilts with it. Then the last quilt I was working on I used an old wool blanket for the batting, which made the quilt quite thick. I had a terrible time with the walking foot, gave up, and switched back to the regular one. Had a terrible time with that, gave up, and the project is unfinished.

I finally finished my rectangles. I'm glad I finished before the next clue came out.

I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend.

Your Swoon is so pretty, Retiredteacher. I like how that black makes your center star stand out.

Getting caught up with the 18-1/2 x 9-1/2 units today, finished 3 and last one is layed out to be stitched. Yeah I was hoping to be ready for next step.
Have you Thanked a Veteran for their service today?
