Nice block, Jaba. I like the b/w.

Here's mine in blue. I am trying to step out of the box a bit more so the blues vary a great deal. Normally, I'd keep the shades of blue more similar but what the heck, let's see how this goes. I've got thousands of squares so if I don't like it, I have many more from which to choose! Might try to make sure no two fabrics are the same. That could take more time than sewing!

Jaba is off already! Can't wait to see what you will make. I know it will be lovely.

Also look at JaniceMcC. I like the great variety of blues. The swoon quilt with the blue star and white back ground appeals to me the most. I am still on the fence about joining.

Great blocks, Jaba & Janice. I'm also going with brown.

Hi all, haven't been commuting to anything on the board this year. Still too many UFO's to complete and spring is here and gardening starts. I'm keeping an eye out on this thread and saving the links . great pattern choice Jane.

I am in! I will also be doing 2-1/2" charms. Have plenty of those and need to use them for something other then leaders & enders, pot holders, place mats etc. It will be a couple of weeks before I start though. am in the middle of cleaning my sewing room, don't think that will be finished for awhile. If you could see it you would say "OH YEAH!"

Wonderful! Whether you choose the 3" or 2" size, it will be a great quilt.

    Here's my center:

Not quite sure I want to keep the 'picnic ants' in there and might make some slight changes - - -
