These are real swoon quilts and they're all wonderful.

Default Need to choose new fabric

I've been trying to patiently wait on my fabric to arrive. Today I found out that it's not coming. It says "Backordered: no longer available."

    This is the center:

I was going to use the greys from Bali Batik 1895 Watercolor Licorice Crackers. I'm not sure if mixing these batiks with small print greys and blacks will look ok or whether I should start over with new fabric. I might be able to locate enough different grey batiks to make it work. I'm not sure what to do now.

I'm so sorry... I'm sure you just want to keep sewing!

Can you find your fabrics elsewhere? Keepsake Quilting, Whittles, Fabric.com????

I try to be super careful about where I order online. I haven't looked there, but I will now. Thank you!

Those are all good, reputable online businesses. You don't need to worry about any of them.... I've done business will all of them, and they have been around giving good service for a long time.

Oo, so many pretty "Swoons". You have all inspired me to jump aboard this train. I know, I'm incredibly late. But, when you all started, I was immersed in sewing for my soon to be granddaughter. And then, baby sitting for my grandson in NC, while mommy gave birth to baby sister. And then a jump over to KY to visit with mom. And, now I'm home and saw all your beautiful Swoons, that I just have to join you. I am challenging myself to use mostly what I have at home with the exception of a piece of green fabric. (If they still have it.) The last few years I have been completely enamored with Orange and green. Truly have no idea how that happened. My favorite colors are turquoise and purple. But for this Swoon, I am going to use Orange, Pink and Green. I sure hope I have chosen wisely. Thank you for inspiring me.
    Step 1- ORANGE Center.
