I'm late, too. Your step one is really nice! Can't wait to see it develop!

Judith1005, Orange, pink and green! That will be super cheerful!
Morganfam7, I used a light blue and medium blue in my swoon and I was disappointed that I couldn't see the finished pattern as well as I wanted. You have a very interesting start! I'm curious to see what happens next. :-) Keep posting pictures!

I finished step 2. Morganfam7, have your made any decisions involving your center yet?

Thank you Sewbiz and givio. Givio, I was feeling like I needed cheery. I also live in the sunshine state. So, this is definitely a reflection of my life here.

I finally got a picture. I've had a little "help" and it's slowing me down.

Here's my swoon, through step 5. Green, Navy, Grey isn't a good combo. You can see the star in the pictures but you have to look at it cross eyed in real life to see it. I'm not stopping now though! I have my pieces set up for step 6.

I think your colors are great, amcatanzaro. That's going to be a pretty quilt! Love your helper, too.

amcatanzaro, I think your colors are working out just fine. I can't wait to see it when it is finished. I love the blue and green together. And the gray works great as a light.

I'm a bit worried about mine because a lot of my fabric reads as medium. I'm hoping that the difference in the colors will help. We will just have to see. I am going to use what I have at home! (No shopping for fabric right now.)

Thank you and Judith too. I see the problem, my tealish greens are too close to the navy. I'll avoid those for the rest of the journey.
Violet (the helper) dove through the entire thing right after I took the picture. She tried to take off with a block. She's a pill.
