Sewbizgirl, this is the first chance I've had to zoom in on your swoon quilt and really take a look. Lovely work! (I found several squares I sent in the b'day swap. What fun!) I've just finished my top and am looking at everyone's finished quilts for quilting ideas. Thanks for sharing!

Hope CatOnAMac will find my photo and post it in our group's album.

Hi ladies, I finally finished Step 3. I am slowly working my way through step 4.

Not sure how I really feel about the pinks yet. But, I am going to keep moving on with it. I'm not cutting up more fabric on a whim. I'm going to have faith that this is going to work out.

Judith1005, That's refreshing! And the gigham around the outside looks cute, you could contemplate that for a border idea. :-)

Thank you ladies. I don't have anything more to share yet. I had to switch gears and start working on a baby quilt that has a deadline. But, I am switching back and forth. (Short attention span, sometimes.) I am also waiting on a delivery of green fabric to arrive before I work on more green. I was woefully limited on enough of the right color prints. And I thought I had so much green. (Not so!) That is one color I've used up most of what I had. Shopping is always good though. Right. I like the idea of a gingham border. I have some in pink and some in green. I will give that some thought.

I guess I messed up. I didn't realize that HST must start out bigger than the other squares. I'm using precuts 5x5 for the squares, so the HSTs have to start out bigger than 5", right? I'm using triangulations, and it says the 5 3/8" for 4 1/2" finished block. Should I string piece or any ideas? I feel pretty ridiculous, lol Geometry is not my strong point. ha ha
