I just checked in to catch up on 4 months of postings, boy did I miss a lot! To all who used little squares to construct your fabric, love the little squares -- adds so much interest to a beautiful block. All the blocks are beautiful, no matter what fabrics are used. They all are wonderful.

It's been so long since I finished my top, that I promised myself I would get it finished this year. So I pulled out some fabric to make a pieced backing - 4 large (40") swoon blocks. Finished that this weekend, took photos of my 95x95" top, and then looked at the original. I had added borders it to make it rectangular - and it measures 91x106". I was completely wrong about the size of this quilt, even without the borders (I figure it must have been 72x72"). So now what? My new back is too wide, so I can't just add to the ends and make it fit. Back to the drawing board, I guess.

It's done! 3 years in the making, but I got my Giant Scrappy Swoon quilted and bound this week. I added borders to turn it into a rectangle for my bed, and finally dug it out of the UFO pile and quilted/bound it.

Krista, It's gorgeous. I love how you made it into a rectangle. Mine is on my list to finish this year as well. I still have all the outside patches to make. Congrats to you though, enjoy!!
