Wow, that's one busy quilt. This may be one where I wish I had stuck to my plan to use a single fabric for each colour Oh well, we'll see how it goes when I clear some room on my design wall. First, I have 2 mysteries lined up for tomorrow, and one to finish from today - so no Bonnie quilting for me for a couple of days.

I couldn't resist and put together one block. Here it is. I think I'm going to like the final result and I am not a scrappy or busy quilt lover, so that's saying something. I'll do some more in the morning. Happy New Year, everyone!

I am not sure I like it, umm but I will put together a block or two, what I am pleased about is that because of the colours I have not gone too scrappy, I think that will denote how the quilt turns out................... it's very busy!

Looking good, IrishNY. Your black is perfect for this quilt. Now that I see yours I wish I would have stuck with my original plan to use all white as my neutral.

I didn't love it when I first saw it but the more I looked the more I liked it. Here's mine laid out. Had to cut a few blue squares and get the green in there too. Don't know if I am loving the color changes I made.

I like your color changes, Pam. It will be fun to see all the color combinations on Monday's link up.

I'm so excited!!! I'm not a scrappy person, but I must say I LOVE the quilt. I need to figure out how to make it king-sized (math challenged!) Happy new year, everyone!

I couldn't wait to play around with my Blocks this morning. I have 5 kiddos here that woke up at 0730. Wow. After staying up til at least 2. I might swap out the center block for a solid fabric. What do you think? That's just a piece of paper right now. Haha. Maybe Aqua?

Ugh. Can't seem to post a picture.

I love the reveal, can't wait to put mine together!

This is a quilt I would probably have never made if not for being a mystery and I am so happy I did it

I agree that it looks pretty busy, but I've come this far and sticking it out. Her photo looks great. I've decided that the "new" turquoise 3-1/2" squares will all be same fabric and not scrappy. I really didn't have a choice as I only have 1 piece that can make enough squares. Anyhow, I tested a bit and I DEFINITELY think the constant cornerstones help pull it together.
