I had a friend ask me if I wanted to go to MO Star Quilt Co. Of course I said yes. And of course I went off the wagon. I bought fabric to finish a future swap. Then I bought fabric for the mystery quilt #11. Then I bought some pink fabric to go along with a quilt I'm making for my sister. And of course I bought some batiks. Oh course I searched my stash before I bought. I'm still saving for my bus trip in a month. Then my material buying is over for the year. It's time to seriously complete many projects.

Happylab: How could any quilter go to MOS and not purchase anything? I too am watching Christmas creep closer. I have several projects that I better get started on.

Sophie2, congratulations on finishing your quilt! I'd love to see a photo!

The time is drawing near for the next mystery! I have no money to spend this year, so if I participate, it will have to be from (my rather small) stash.

I love the colors for this year's mystery--I told myself when Bonnie visited Italy, "If she chooses Tuscan colors, I'll do this one." She did, so I'll try it. Will there be a new thread on QB for this year's quilt?

I've had this finished for some time, but it is still a flimsy! I added the sashing strips around each of my blocks.

Jeanie, I really like how you outlined the blocks. May have to try that. My blocks are finished but I haven't gotten any further.
