Muv ... What a perfect backing fabric. It's like an English Country Garden!

Will we get to see your quilt as a Christmas present? Hope so!
And then next up, you'll have to make an official Royal Baby Quilt as a companion to this one.

I just finished the top to a quilt that is a tribute to Africa. Since I'm not from there, I don't think it counts as patriotic, but I posted it in the photos section if you guys want to see it.

Well in that case I'm happy to post it here too. Always love to share my quiltings. This is just the top, still have to layer, quilt and bind.

Wildyard - it's lovely, all those vibrant colours!

Hello QuiltE - not there yet, but still steaming ahead!
It will take a Coronation or another Jubilee to get me to make another quilt with this amount of work to it. You never know, if the Queen lasts as long as the Queen Mother did we could have a 75th anniversary to celebrate.

Muv .... ha! but but but .... a baby quilt would be MUCH smaller! Just think how much fun it'd be to do!!!
And indeed there could be a 75th the way she is going. Poor Prince Charles, he could be the King that'll never get to be, too.

Wildyard... I followed your other threads on this quilt and posted to the finale! It's an interesting technique and kind of like an adult I Spy. I hope the recipient is pleased!
