hahahahaha .... oh yes, I finish my projects ... some faster than others! And have made great headways this year. Miss Peep still has her very own dedicated project box, so that is good news ... that it has not been dispersed! It's not that I haven't thought of her ... and maybe because I have no one in particular for her, that she continues to suffer in captivity!

Feel free to make Miss Peep for me. Will that get her out of the box?

    And, drumroll, please:

When the owner told me Canada D'Eh was in the front window I didn't realize how prominent it would be. She also told me there is quite a large event planned for July 1 so people would see my quilt.

Here is the store front. The quilt in the other window is the store's version of the pattern I used for Canada D'Eh. They stuck a lot closer to the pattern than I did.

Thank you everyone. I am tickled pink seeing that quilt in the window. I really like how it turned out. This particular quilt store isn't all that convenient for me but will be my go-to store from now on. Wonder why?

The car quilt to the left of mine is advertising the upcoming car and quilt walk in August. I doubt we will have a car in the show but I will enter a few quilts. Entry fee goes to local a charity.

It is kind of a competition. Visitors vote on their favourite quilts. But, the quilts are so spread out that no one can see them all. I enter it as an exhibit.

The only year I entered, I was looking at my quilt in a store window and the store owner commented how gorgeous the quilt was and that she chose it for her window. She was quite pleased when I told her it was my quilt. Needless to say, I was pretty pleased myself.

Oh what fun, when we are the fly on the wall ... and hear such good things!
I'm sure you will delight them this year, once again.
