This is the next UFO, now finished. I have no idea where the embroidery designs come from, I wasn't very organized back then when I started embroidering

Cute stuff, Anael... Love the WH....must feel good to finish up your pretties. I've been working on another mini but today I'm going to run thru the house and quick clean...no viewing this weekend but I did sell some more of my antiques. Hopefully the snail quilt will be back from LA this week..

    Thanks!!
Yes it feels good to finally finish a few things. I pulled out another UFO yesterday, ironed it, found a backing, ironed that as well, put it on an empty chair so I could start making the sandwich when I had finished the other two projects. Once I wanted to start with that UFO I found one of the lady cats on the quilttop. She made her bed there LOL. So now I have to iron everything again! That will happen tomorrow, now it's 6 pm.

I just saw another news item about the fires in California. That's so sad, all those people dead or missing, villages completely gone......

I agree -those fires are scary!

I finished up the Delilah blocks - and then set them aside to work on a Christmas ribbon quilt I fell in love with.

Strong Santa Ana winds today....not good for fire areas that's for sure. So many still missing...lives lost...homes lost... The entire city of Paradise gone. Just awful...

I saw a video about the city of Paradise. You read about it but when you see it it's real. Has it been this bad before?

California fires are typically ranked the worst in the country, Anael. This fire is ranked in the top in terms of acreage and loss of lives and homes. Never before has there been an entire city lost...loss of communities within city, yes, but not the whole city. I don't recall this many people missing before, either. They can usually evacuate in plenty of time but this was a swift fire due to the winds and many people were trapped. It's horrible to witness...

Th result of purple play day..... 14x16.... FMQ practicing.... Ribbon candy on sashing looks pretty good but...dang....My curls on border...yuck....I always forget to leave the 1/4" seam allowance...curls not even...double yuck... Top scroll design not bad for just winging it. Lol...Oh well... I'm going to go more mini on this pattern.
