I finished the piecing part of GBST, now on to the borders. I'm not going to miter them....I think

My Gypsy Wife, called Maria, is hanging in the living room for now. She was on my bed but I wanted to really see her so downstairs she came.

First I need coffee before cutting the border fabric. Still need to decide which fabric I'm going to use. The one with lots of white or the pink with white dots.

Anael, I love your GTSB's. I love the substitution of the dresden's. They play very nicely. I can't wait to see it with the borders on. I really love this pattern and think I will definitely be buying it. I can see it done so many different ways. But, I think I would stick with scrappy. I'm still looking for your border choices. I am starting 20 pages back.

Pulled out some fabric for the stems. Now to cut them and use my bias tape maker. Don't think I will do that today, tomorrow will be a nice day for making them

Anael....absolutely gorgeous. Love all the modifications you did with the different blocks use. You did a fabulous job on this. And, love the border fabric. Perfect choice. Will look great with the contrasting binding. I have never used a bias maker for stems though I own a couple of sizes. Have fun... Can't wait to see it finished.
