This pattern!!! Did you make templates? Or just measure the template? B is 2 1/16" and C is 1 1 /2 - minus a hair! It bothers me immensely. I had to go into my sewing room and dump out my batik box. On the floor, so I could see the scraps on the bottom of the box. I had to start this quilt immediately.

I used the templates, when provided. It was easier and more precise, at least for me it was. Some of the blocks provide finished measurements but most are templates. Welcome to Kingwell world...lol... She is a crazy pattern maker... And, I so get the excitement. I couldn't wait to delve into this pattern. Batiks will be awesome to use for this pattern. You go, girl!

I've decided to follow your recommendation. Made a few of the templates. And working on one section at a time makes sense. Here's block #1.

Yeahhhh we have a new Kingwellfollower Welcome sewingitalltogether!
Great start, beautiful block!!
With the measurements, I found sewing a scant 1/4" seam helps too.

Teen, it's going to be another stunning quilt!!

The pic isn't great, it's a bit blurry but........I've never seen this European Green Woodpecker before so I'm happy with it. Hopefully I'll see it again one day!

Very pretty, Anael..

Worked on the floral's last night for HB. Almost done with the center of quilt. Still need to do stems but that requires sewing machine so I'll do later.
