Anael, it looks fabulous. I like that you added some lighter strips in there. It really balances the color well.

Thank you Judith! I'm happy with those lighter strips too.

I redid Crazy Anne. Here's the old one

I'm going to start on my Bakers Dozen quilt. This one is sort of medallion style. I want a bit more color coordination so I have to do some planning for that. This pattern uses a lot of strings, and I bought it because at the time, I had a lot of strings! But then I did the Boxes of Strings quilt and that used up most of them. But on the good side, that does free me up to use stash and not scraps for this one.

Sometimes you see a quilt which catches your eye. I just saw a Long Time Gone on Facebook, made with 30's fabrics and pink sashings. I asked the lady for permission to post the photo here on the board. Waiting for her to reply

A link is not possible as it's a closed Facebook group. I didn't get a reply yet.
I won't be home today so maybe tonight when I'm back.

Anael, great section. I love the heart block. You seem to like her patterns a lot. I have been thinking about the Green Tea and Sweet Beans pattern a lot. I really like that one. I may break down and buy that one. I will probably make it scrappy with what I have at home. But, it is not on the list to start till I finish up a few more UFO's. I'm getting there ladies. I still have quite a few to go. But, I will reach my goal of at least 8 finishes this year. Hopefull 12. But, definitely 8. With a couple of new finishes also.

I'm going to make my Happy Flower quilt in 30's reproduction fabrics. I just need to locate a few more blue prints. I think I have plenty of everything else. http://www.fabricpixie.com.au/Happy-...a-_p_7993.html Just a link so you can see what the quilt would look like. I didn't pay near that much for the book!

Right now, I'm working on a R/W/B quilt for my SIL who is deployed. I hope to finish up that quilt top in the next month and get it off to the quilter. I need to pick up some reds today. My stash is woefully low on reds. I keep looking, but, I don't want to buy anything I don't love!
