Thank you Blue Bell!
OK, I think you're right. I personally don't fancy an almost black binding. Because it will not be quilted in quite some time it's not sure which fabric I still have left. It's a Kingwell though, everything goes
(except black LOL)

Anael....this is truly a fabulous finish of this pattern. I truly love this. Beautifully executed! Typically, I choose a darker color for binding cuz I like the framing aspect of the look....it would also tie-in to the center framed work...however, The more I look,at it the more I like a color that won't stand in contrast to the quilt colors....I...multi-colored would look so cool. Could use up scraps...t would look like the quilt never ended and just spills over. It will be awesome no matter what!!

You could make your binding now and put in a ziplock Baggie...store it with the quilt until you are ready to quilt it. You have the quilt size and already know what the length needed will be. I do this with all my quilts since the fabric is already out (unless I use the scraps from backing trim after LA)...and that way I'm ready for when it's returned from LA....but, of course, I quilt mine right away...
Unlike you UFOr's...lol!,
