    My dear Kingwell lovers!

It's time for me to move on. I used to visit this board first thing in the morning, now I am barely on here. This used to be my 'happy' place but it's not anymore.
I loved all the conversations in this thread, I loved seeing all your beautiful Kingwell blocks and quilts!
Thank you for making this thread into a friendly place where help is just a word away.
I wish you all the best and stay healthy!!

Oh, Anael (angel)., I’m sorry to read that. I love seeing your lovely quilts and you are so helpful and encouraging.

I hope that after taking a little break, you will come back. I’m about to start Long Time Gone and I need all the help I can find.

    To you.

hobbykat1955...what fun to do this quilt together and now via Skype. Thanks for sharing your delightful progress. LTG is on my bucket list.

We do what we have to do, Anael.

Have great journeys Anael. I am not fond of all the changes and have been coming here less and less. I do more Facebook now. But find I tend to not do a lot of online period. It just all became more tedious when my laptop died. Now I have use of a tablet only. Not everything is easy with a tablet. (I think, anyway.) I will miss you.

Anael, you have been such an inspiration to many of us. I completed Green Tea and have a thread in photos. I call it Sweet Tea and Green Beans. Thank you for all the great advice you have given.

I find I'm coming here less and less, too. All the pop up ads are driving me crazy and it is frustrating to load and to look at photos. I'm using Facebook more, too. At any rate, being a Kingwell groupie, I am just starting The Avenue. Made my own templates and realized that having real templates would make life easier. So those just came in the mail yesterday, and I am good to go. I love the mix of piecing and a little applique. didn't realize the blocks are so big, but I like that too after the intricacy of My Small World and Long Time Gone.

Here are a few of my first blocks for The Avenue. Now that I have the hang of machine piecing the curved blocks (I cut the "C" pieces a little larger and cut down to size), production has sped up. This is a good stash buster.
