Nooooo I haven't been sewing in the past two weeks. I have troubles with my eye sight, seeing blurry all the time and can't sew Tried to but getting nowhere so I'll wait a few more days.
I had the same last year, had my eyes checked and nothing wrong, just need to sit it out the doc told me. So that's what I'm doing.

Lol...I know...... I just discovered that Jen is going to be teaching a class at a LQS in Idaho in April next year, hopefully. One of the shops I frequent when I travel there. I should be there by then (hopefully before the year is out)... They are currently doing a BOM on Golden Days (template program only) but way too expensive....still...I'm going to swing by and buy the pattern next week when I'm there. They do a lot of classes for her patterns...they just finished the GW...now on Golden Days.....then, I think GTSB... So, I'm moving to right place...lol.. I'll probably go "fangirl" on her and they'll have to call security. Lol....

I'm sorry you are having vision problems...that impacts everything you do, just about. Well, you've been wanting to update some areas in your home so hopefully, you've been playing a bit with that...does it effect riding your bike, too, or just close up stuff?

Hahahahaaaaa lucky you! Whatever you do, have fun I'll visit you when in jail......LOL
    Templates are very expensive.
I won't be buying any more patterns any time soon. I still have a few waiting so those need to be done first.
Besides I can't decide which ones to buy next...hahahaha

I'm tired of trying to focus all day.
It doesn't effect riding my bike. It would driving a car though because anything not too close was blurry so I would have had problems reading signs and things like that. On my bike I'm slow enough not to get into trouble
I didn't update my home, The cats were running around and I need to paint the stairs which is impossible when the ladies are upstairs and don't know they can't use the stairs LOL. So that still has to be done. No problem though, it's ok with me. I will be here for a while!!

It's weird that there is no explanation for the vision issue from your doctor. I assume he's screened you for diabetes? That's private so you don't have to answer it's just that I know that is a side effect.

My cats are outdoor cats, adopted when they strolled on my property several years ago. After a couple of days, I adopted them, took them to vet, fixed them, and now they reek havoc on varments and share their success at my back door. My patio can be a blood bath sometimes...ugh! They are precious and hope they do OK when we relocate them. One is really on his last chapter of life and may have difficulty.

Don't mention"painting" to me. **shudder**. So glad that is done. Now just cleaning and packing a few remaining things...All is good here...

Yes they screened for about everything they could think of.

My cats are outdoor cats too but are inside often too. One of them, Basja, is a half breed Norwegian Forest cat and she brings me goodies and I can clean up the mess.
    They're not that old, 8 and 7.

I won't mention it again But I do need to cover the stairs with two layers of that protective stuff hahahaha.
But.....tonight I'm going to the movies with a friend. It's been a long time since I've been to the movies.

Well...it doesn't look like I'm going to be able to purchase just the pattern for Golden Days. You have to enroll in BOM to get pattern. I imagine it will be available later once BOM runs its course. However, LQS shared they have most of her patterns so I'll go check it out when I get there and maybe buy some other patterns on my list. I may look at fabric (duh...lol) too, for LTG colorway options.
