The steps are getting intriguing. Where are we going with these units??

    Quossom- those look so fun!

Also, how are you getting full sized pictures on your posts? I know how to get the smaller version but didn't know we could do the bigger ones.

I love the reveal! Fabulous. For those getting the steps from this site, the last two are:
    Part 6: https://merrymayhem.com/uploads/3/4/...43-nyd-pt6.pdf
    Part 7 (reveal): https://merrymayhem.com/uploads/3/4/...43-nyd-pt7.pdf

This is the first time I’ve participated in the Merry Mayhem mystery and loved it. I didn’t have any large fabric cuts of more than a yard of anything so I went with a lap size. I love the secondary pattern and I will definitely be doing this in a larger quilt at some point in time.

Jmoore, that’s gorgeous. The fabric choices you made really gives the pattern pop.

jmoore - Great job!! I'm liking your color combination - very cute results!!

Unfortunately I am not able to get many of the pics posted in this discussion thread to show the progress of those that are busily sewing - it may be glitches with this new forum format - hopefully the pics will eventually come through. The only ones that I can see are the fisrt few at the beginning of the thread and then the last pic which is jmoore's.

I really like the pattern in the step 7 reveal!!! So much fun!! and the clues seems to be well written - I don't have time to work on this mystery today but I did download the clues for another day - Thank you for updating the links so it was easy to find and follow.

Just a quick question - what is the final size of the HST blocks? - I think someone asked but didn't see the answer - Could someone verify the size please.
I will be watching to see if more pics come through

Wow! I'm really impressed with the reveal on this one! One of the best mysteries I've done. I really didn't see it coming. If I had realized, I might have made the larger size. Might still do a larger one some time. I love the woven look.

As far as my pictures, I've just been copying and pasting them from Google photos, but apparently that makes it so that some people can see them while others can't. Very odd.

Here's my stopping place for the day:

I'm going to have to put on borders later. I'm not sure I have enough, but I'd like to use the dark green fabric for binding. I'll post more pictures as I finish more of it. And maybe try to figure out how to attach pictures that are visible to everyone!

Thanks for stitching along! I LOVE the photos that everyone has shared. That whale fabric is wonderful! And the florals take it in a different direction, too. I love seeing the same patterns in different colorways!

    Happy New Year, everyone!
