Sounds like a lot of people are right on track- awesome! I've got mine ready to go for NYD, all pressed & trimmed. Now it's just a matter of keeping the cats from wrinkling them up in the meanttime

Jmoore, I'm loving those fabrics! Especially the teal colored one with the flowers- gorgeous!

I hope everyone who celebrates a winter holiday has had a lovely time so far. New Year's is fast approaching and I can't wait (well, mostly I can't wait for another 3 day weekend off work)

    Mine are ready to go!
I'm using a bundle of Jinny Beyer fabrics I forgot I had.

I used part of a batik layer cake that I never knew quite what to do with. Have them cut and marked, not sewn yet.

I have my HST ready for NYD. All fabrics were gifted to me recently. I just had to buy background. Great way to start the new year

Ready for NYD. This is 1/4 of the squares and 1/2 of the waste. Opps. Walked into the sewing room to find a stack not trimmed. Back at it.

The method I like for half square triangles is from Power Cutting and doesn't have as much waste.

SusieQOH and SBG, can’t wait to see your fabric choices. CJsews and PTF your HSTs look great and it will be fun to see how everyone’s quilts make up… I have always enjoyed Merry Mayhem’s NYD mystery.

Finally got my HSTs sewn and trimmed and I'm all caught up! Ready for New Year's Day. This fabric is from a batik layer cake, plus some neutral batik yardage.

SBG, cozy warm HSTs…I can’t wait to see how your batiks come together in the mystery quilt.

SBG- those batiks are awesome! Mine are very saturated with color. I forgot all about this bundle (Jinny Beyer) until the other day.
They aren't batiks but I think they will work well. I'll take a pic, forgot to.
