@joe'smom: No rulers, I'm not that advanced. I used my walking foot and the edge of the foot for the echo. I also used a new to me technique by tracing my design on "press and seal". I laid that on top of the quilt and was ready to go. It worked perfectly.

That's amazing Fraew. I also thought you'd used rulers. Wonderful job.

Jaba, those orange and yellow fabrics are so pretty with the white! Your table runners are beautiful; I especially like the blue one.

letawellman, not knowing any of the things that went wrong, your Glory quilt looks great to me!

Wow, so many great finishes today. My first UFO for this month is finished. I pulled out two more, one throw and one that is waiting for borders. The throw is already sandwiched and ready to quilt. I haven't been this motivated in a long time.

First thing I did was not finish something but simply fix a few spots on a quilt that I love so I can wash it without more damage so for me, that's a good start. Will proceed with progress!

Thanks Janice - I did get it and I'll see if I can do it. I just didn't have any luck seeing a tree to click on. Do I just say something new and see if it gives me that option?

Krystyna....I definitely have an addiction!:-) I took the knee lift off my Bernina so I wouldn't keep using it.

I'd like to hop on board, I have about a dozen UFO's. Pretty much all are quilt tops which need to be quilted. So I'm going to try for one finish every 2 months. I'm not very fast at the quilting stage. I've been enjoying watching everyone's progress!

Here's my first finish for 2016. I pieced it more than 5 years ago. I was able to use a lot of small pieces from my scrap bin. I call it "Home is Not Where the Heart Is". Because it was finished in Islamabad, our home for the next 2 years. It has taken up residence on the back of the couch, brightening up our drab brown 'staff quarters'.

More great finishes over the weekend!! Keep it up everyone. :)

I should be able to have a finish to share by the end of the week as long as nothing else comes up. Almost done with the 2nd border and then have binding to do....Tuesday and Thursday afternoon are my sewing days this week.

Last year SheriR challenged me to learn how to "quilt". I've been doing that by check for years was my response. He he. This is my 6th attempt at "quilting". So far, so good. BTW, if you have a UFO that just isn't working for you, change things up; make it a mini and finish that UFO up! Get 'er done.

Love that quit! Also what a good idea you have about finishing quilts, that is something to consider.

Let's, I'm trying for one a month, too...meanwhile I'm cutting for the 365 day challenge from

using from me stash so no new fabric will come in for this.

I am also doing the 365 challenge and also using fabric from my stash.
