Way to go, Patrice...and IMHO count the flimsy...it's off of your UFO pile!

I agree, gone is gone! And you are done with it.

Congratulations on your finish, Dettonlisas. Donating a top definitely works! Toot, Toot!

I sort of finished a UFO. I combined some test blocks and orphaned blocks, used some sashing black and greys from my stash and made a top. I will be donating this one!

Geez, O Pete! What a group of finishes! Six in this month. Congratulations, PatriceJ. :) Toot, Toot! And the one you are giving away will DEFINITELY count. Let us know when it's officially gone from your stack and we'll call it another finish.

why re-state when she put it so well! :)

i am excited to report that i have polished off 6 more this month. :D

http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...s-t285999.html

that leaves "only" 6 to go.

one of those shouldn't count because i am going to pass the top on to a friend so she can have it quilted. then she can add it to those she donates to a local group home for kids.

one i am going to send out to a long-armer. it's queen size and i just don't have to room to sandwich it without killing myself.

a friend of mine has two she will use to practice on her new long-arm rig.

that leaves 2 i need to sandwich and quilt myself. those will have to wait til next month.
i am up to my eyeballs reorganizing and down-sizing around here.
it's starting to look like an episode of hoarders!

i will enjoy seeing everybody else's finishes until then. :)

Wonderful finishes. Now that I am done with the quilted wedding dress, my boom blocks, and donation blocks, I am ready to get some ufos completed.

Love your finish Janice, that is cute and 18.5" sometimes can be one of the hardest to finish.

Congrats on the entry Rob. That is where my quilted wedding dress is also. Take me a photo of it while you are at the show

Thanks QM, and congratulations to you too! I'm not sure I will manage to go to the show as we are having a very jam packed week, but If I get to the show I will take a pic of your dress.

Very impressive Patrice and for sure the top you gave to your friend counts since it is no longer on your UFO pile!

Congrats QM that dress is stunning.

Way to go Patrice those are such lovely finishes.

QM, I can't seem to find the photo of the wedding dress. Is it some pages back?

Patrice, congratulations on all those finishes -- that is major pile reduction! I love the log cabin!

Feb. UFO finish!

Hey all,
Here's my UFO finish for Feb. I took Angela Walters' Craftsy class several years ago and quilted this, but didn't like the quality of some of the quilting, so it went on the UFO pile. On Friday I decided to get it off the UFO pile and rip out the parts I didn't like (which ended up being all the fish which I decided I didn't like the pattern AW had chosen so I just quilted around them and echoed, and also the purple areas, which I re-did using rulers). Anyway, here it is, and I even added hanging corners to the back AND hung it up in the bedroom. In the photo it's pinned to my design wall. :)
