Another 3 2/3 yards used up on this top. It’s ready to be given to my church group to finish. This was from Beaquilter’s blog and uses only Accuquilt dies. I had to be creative on a couple blocks because I don’t have the extra Qubes with all of the correct size dies. Someone posted on the FB group this top with tumblers so I went with that idea. The striped borders just added a cohesiveness to it.

retired, a very nice quilt. I like the border and how you finished the corners.

Very nice, Retired! I like the blue & green together.

I did it! Made it through my class at the local qs AND passed up an online purchasing sale opportunity without buying any thing. Whew!

Good job, Pamela! It’s hard, but doable.

More stash fabric bites the dust...good job RetiredT!

Good job Stash Busters!! I went to Road to Calif today with a short list of things to look for and that is all I bought. I bought several homespun FQ's and yardage for an applique quilt on my project list for this year. I don't have any in my stash so, hopefully, I'll use it all for project and the leftovers for matching pillows or something. Gorgeous plaids and stripes...love them... Picked up the thread I needed from Superior booth and avoided patterns. Overall, I'm proud of myself because there were a lot of things I would have like to purchase and, ordinarily, I would have. Most quilts displayed have made the round at all the other national shows. The Best of Show was one that won at Lancaster, I think...or maybe Florida. I can't remember. Anyway, it was gorgeous applique and quilting. I'm discovering that the quilting is what wins for many of them.....That lady who does award winning FMQ on her domestic had 2 quilts and they were breathtaking. Anywhooo..had a lovely time.
