Look at all these great finishes and near finishes! My blocks are all sewn but not joined. Oh, those orange and red ones are gaudy! But they kind of started to grow on me as I'm pressing them LOL.
I'm thinking I need to make this bigger by a couple of rows, I will decide once I lay them out.

Congrats on your finish Helen!

Here's my first two blocks. After I do some slow stitching on my hubby's quilt, I'll get to sewing more spinning stars.

Sync: I don't know if it was intentional, but your star block... top rightpoint of blue is a different direction than the pattern. Just in case... I hate it when I am far along and realize a HST is wonky...

I'm working on the final border... though, I think I may add a solid border after that, because I don't like pieced borders on the edges. I'm always concerned they are going to come apart with quilting... I know... silly... but that's how my brain works. :)

What's interesting to me is that I like my quilt much more in the photo, than in person... that's weird...

Very striking, lora3677. I bet your niece will love it.

I am preferring the ones that highlight the star block as yours does. I really enjoy this period of time in the mystery when the photos are pouring out, to try and understand the pattern better. Actually, I think I've spent more time looking at results on Quiltville than sewing, LOL. Better get to work.

Lovely, Lovely, WIP and finishes of quilt tops.

My progress is very slow now. I'm still undecided. I'm not sure if I really want to add 2 plain borders, but I will post some pics of some of my possibilities.

Hope I didn’t violate the rules here by copying and pasting her statement....but she is quite clear that she does not want her patterns redrawn and shared on the internet. Hopefully we can respect her request, as she has generously shared her design/teacher skills with us for years. :)

This is 100% true. She ask that no one DO this. I see her point. She puts a lot of work into her designs which she loves to teach to other quilters new to advance. The way I see it she is giving a bit of herself to each and every
quilter she comes in contact with.

I am still getting my fabric around for this mystery quilt. I have promised myself that I am going to make this quilt. Plus the rest of her mystery quilts once I can find out their names and where to get the patterns.

Craft, En Provence, Grand Illusiion, On Ringo Lake, Alletaire are some of her mysteries that I have done. I know there are more and I think the patterns are all available in her store at Quiltville.com. I have enjoyed making her quilts but I still have Grand Illusion to get quilted after 4 years or so. The others are all done and 2 of them were gifted.
