Top is finished and now I am trying to decide if I want to FMQ with a large meander or have a friend quilt it on her longarm. Couple of the borders were bugger to put on and, surprisingly, the easiest was the last one. Glad this one is done except for the quilting and binding. I still have Grand Illusion to get quilted but the most recent ones are done.

Thank you.
The components are just the ones from last years Ringo Lake mystery, I just went sideways when I got to the working wall. I did make a lot more 9 patches because I wanted the quilt Big. No pattern, just play time. That is why I called it Not Ringo Lake

The colors were all from 1800's stash, in red creams blue. hard to go wrong with those classics.

Such pretty, colorful tops ladies! Neat to see the different colorways. I'm still stitching units....

Toverly love seeing it done in solids the pattern really stands out beautifully. Mine is a little wavy too I am sure it will quilt out. Mine is far from perfect but as every says done is better than perfect. Handmade is always better than store bought in my opinion when it comes to quilts.

Happy Sewing everyone!

Looking great Alvastitcher, I really enjoyed using solids this time. It took alot of guesswork out of the process. I was also amazed that the final border was the easiest one too. I will definitely try that one again.

Alvastitcher that is so pretty! You did such a good job on it. I am plugging along, still bummed about tossing out my little squares lol, it has caused me to lose my oomph with this quilt.
