I've made 2 quilts since Frolic- one for our King bed and one for my granddaughter. They are both nearly finished. I haven't even looked at my Frolic.
Maybe if I leave it long enough I'll start liking it lol.

OragamiGF, love your quilt and fabric choice...it looks awesome.
I have been away from Frolic for a couple of months but just pulled all my pieces out yesterday and just finished the 25 pairs from Part 8. Looks like I will be able to start construction blocks from here. : )

still trying to figure out how to post a photo : /

I posted this to another Thread on the QB. See if this works for you.How to upload a photo to the Quilt Board..

1. Write message
2. Click "Go Advanced"
3. In the box labeled Additional Options click "Manage Attachments"
4. Click "Browse" and locate your photo whereever you saved it on your computer.
5. Find the photo you wish to post click save and then upload.***
This seems to be where folks stumble. The little box with the "Browse" button needs to be expanded so you can see the "Upload" button. It is on the far right and hidden until you expand the box.
6. Preview Post and make changes if you wish or add an additional photo.
7. Click "Submit Reply".

**** I save my photos in a quilt photos file by year, but I also keep a second copy in a file where the photos have been resized to "medium". This format will allow you to post to the QB. It seems there are multiple ways to do this and it all depends on your computer and software preferences. I

Hope this helps. It took me way too long to figure this out when the QB made changes but now it seems to work well for me. Hope it will work for you too.

Carol in Wisconsin: I like the third choice also. Pretty quilt top.

I like the dark blue border. Centers and frames the quilt. Her patterns are always so busy...I find I like the rest.

you said you would need to buy more fabric and that would mean either 1) waiting for delivery or 2) leaving the house.

So....the choice is yours.

Thank you WMUTeach, I will give it another try today.

SusieQ, i was wondering where you were in the BH Frolic, especially since it was your first one of her mysteries. I am going to designate 4 hours a week on it...which means I’ll probably spend more than 4 but if I at least set a goal for 4, it will make me more mindful.

Carol WI, I think the border audition in picture 3 would be perfect. I can’t wait to see what you decide.

Carol, the dark blue finishing border looks wonderful!

I've been piecing like there's no tomorrow. I find I need frequent breaks from the intensity of a more difficult quilt, so I keep starting simpler projects in between working on my En Provence, which I'm determined to finish before getting back to my Frolic. I'm putting together the last border, so very close to having the top done.

Susie,
I love your Frolic, your colors are amazing you did a wonderful job even if you don’t t like it now, perhaps later on you will, kudos to you for toughing it out.

Another day of preparing the units using the neutral squares so I can begin assembling the blocks.

I'm using WMTeach instructions and crossing my fingers a photo will appear. : O
