It is finished and it is huge, I haven't measured it but my bed is a queen and it hangs to the floor on both sides.
The five borders were a pain to do and lining up the seams on the mitered corners, well lets just say that there were 4 corners and about 12 seams hahaha:D |
Absolutely Spectacular, MiraB ..... stunning indeed!!!!!!!
What a monster in size! You should take great pride in it with all those y-seams and it laying flat. I hope that your Patchwork Friends recognize how much work it was for you and show their appreciation, ten fold! It'll be interesting to see how the LA'er quilts it. |
Yes stunning indeed...all that black space is waiting to be quilted with peacock colors....
|
WOW Mirabelle! Another beautiful quit from you!! I've always like that "bursting star" look.
DDs graduation party was this past weekend so I might have time to be checking in a bit more in the weeks to come. School is coming to a close, archery will slow down after Nationals. I even get to sew today (haven't done so since early-March). Looking forward to seeing Laurie's new book (for those who did the Farmer's Wife quilts)... Hope all are well. |
