Mary, I used dove gray. I usually piece with that color. I used the monofilament on the pig and sunflower. Good luck.:thumbup:

Lawsonmugs.....I typically use the color of the background fabric for the bobbin. Mostly, I use a neutral or gray like Wannabee. Good luck and hold on to the end...lol... It can get squirrelly.

OK I tried the clear mono thread and this is a picture of what happened. I used red reg. thread in the bobbin. I used a button hole stitch. It looks like I sewed the patch on the pink fabric with red. I also sewed a straight stitch. same threads as the patch. I marked a black arrow to the straight stitching. I see very little dots of red. Am I doing something wrong. Are there some special settings or something? :mad::shock::o
