I just finished this stage. I'm going to call it quits for tonight lol.

Wow, Rosy, you are a fast sewist! Would love to see your stash! :)

Rosyhf: Very nice!
I hope to have pictures soon. My center block wasn't square and I corrected it with bigger side rectangles but I didn't like it that way. Soooo, the seam ripper and I are becoming fast friends as I redo it. I liked my square selection so I didn't want to repurpose the block and start over again. :). I apparently didn't have my needle set correctly for the 1/4 " width for some rows. Oh well, live and learn! Connie |
Lovely fabrics, Rosy!

This is so fun. I love love this Swoon deal. Are there more patterns? lol. I can do this while I work on my present project. I used all the possible scrap that I could and then had to get some stash lol. I love my scrappy middle. See? they are not even solid squares, just pieces I joined and then cut into squares. Even some of the HS are that way and it gives such a good look to certain areas. I like looking at everyone's choices. This is really fun for me. A big thanks to
jclinganrey for starting this fun project. |
Ok, I searched the web for swoon quilts and it's all the same blocK?. Hmmmm time for a different block?

I played around with the blocks and I do like the star but will change it to something like this.

Rosey love your colors, very pretty!

Rosyhf, I do like your more relaxed version of the square, the different sized pieces here and there. Nice idea. And the colors are so rich. Am very interested to see how your swoon top ends up!
