Congratulations to brushandthimble and tip our newest adoption.

Please cross dingle off of the Moms and Dads list. I misunderstood her post.

Re: Activity Section. I better see if they are willing to stickyfy us first before I start asking for more stuff maybe?

I would love to be inspired by a quilting mommy, I love trying new things especially those darn log cabin blocks which I can't quite get..

Still looking for someone to adopt me! I sort of feel like the last kid picked for the kick ball team. I am mostly interested in learning how to quilt my quilts so they look fabulous. So far, I have only made sampler/scrap book/personal quilts that are for or about specific people. I have machine quilted the tops using the stitch in the ditch method (yawn) I've really enjoyed it but would like to branch out and would LOVE to have a quilting buddy that I could ask my questions.

No need to feel like that, honest! You are merely pointing out that a mentor's skill level has to be matched to the "student's" need. You need someone who is good at quilting - a very different requirement and much harder to teach long-distance than some other skills.

You will get an adopted mommy or daddy soon!!! Like MadQuilter said, a perfect match will come along :D:D:D

:D:D:D I think you met the first requirement by offering to be our leader :D:D:D I don't think that Patrice will mind another question/request  Activities like this was why Admin added that section :D:D:D

If you knew how cute I was, you would adopt me.
I have been quilting a little over a year, but not very productive so I don't have much experience.

Hello, I have been quilting since the summer of 2007. I have completed a few quilts but have lots to learn. I have never mitered corners, FMQ'd or paperpieced. I definately need to learn the last as some of my nieces quilt will be so. I would love to help out anyone.

Maybe we can have a verteran, a middle of the road person and a newbie all together b/c I know there are a lot of us who fall in middle of the road.

I machine piece and hand quilt. My name is Michele, let me know if anyone wants to pair up!
