I have forgotten to post my finish of this quilt. Easy to make, fun and a pleasing result. It was gifted to a high school graduate a few weeks ago.

Wow WMUT, that turned out great, I really am going to have to get started. It's a really great finish
Happy sewing everyone---Cherryb |
WMUTeach it turned out lovely I am sure the recipient loved it.
I have been slowly working on mine currently mine will be 5 x 7 blocks. I have 3 rows left to sew together. Was considering going bigger but ran out of the background color was just using what I have up as I have tons of fabric and most my quilts find homes elsewhere. Still thinking if I will add any sort of border or just do like WMUTeach did and not any border. I have enjoyed this sew along used up some of my 2 1/2" squares. |
Beautiful finish WMUTeach - lovely color in your IC. I keep looking at the pile of blocks made and squares waiting to be sewn hoping to find some time to finish my IC but the other 3 WIPS with short deadlines are getting the priority this week.

Lovely finish, WMU! I’m sure it’s going to be loved by it’s new owner.

Here is my scrappy Irish Chain. I decided on doing an inner border and an outer border. The center chain is the same fabric had over 200 2 1/2 in squares already cut so just used that as a constant and the rest are scrappy squares from my 2.5" square bin. The outer border is a yard of fabric I received from Australia in an exchange barley enough to go around had to piece that last side in 3 spots but am really happy with how it turned out. Thank you for the sew along!!
