Lots of great quilts/projects being finished. Thanks for sharing all the eye candy, but once I see a pattern I like I have to add it to my list of future quilts which gets longer every day.
I finished putting the binding on this quilt today. It is for my son to replace the old denim quilt I made him years ago. He's didn't have a long enough wingspan to hold the edges. 85x85

Now it's a test to see how long this one lasts him, Mona G. BTW, I was born in Iowa, grew up in Minnesota, and "matured" in Iowahttps://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images/smilies/smile.png

Welcome, thepolyparrot!

Sync: I'm glad you found the binding.

MonaG: Great finish!

Mona....great quilt and really neat pattern. My list gets longer, as well, seeing all the beauties created by others.

I picked up my 2 quilts from quilter today and will be putting the binding on them both this week... I dropped another off to her, as well. Staying on top of things here...

I was finally able to get some pics of a few of my UFOs. These 3 Quillows are almost 2 years old (August 2019). That is when I found out my cousin had 4 girls (not just the 2 I knew she had) and 3 grandbabies, from 7 months to 5 years. The girls have all received their graduation blankets (Moratorium challenge from 2019). With the little ones, They needed something small enough they could handle and big enough that would still be functional as they grew.

The quillows measure 48" x 60". That is the size of the fleece backing. I have a fair assortment of fleece in that size from the "No-Sew Blanket" kits I buy at Joann's when they are on sale for 60|% off. I get two pieces of good quality fleece for less than the price of one. That is what I get them for and it has been quite a while since I've needed any (I went a little crazy the last time). Also, approximately 90% of the material for all of these was from stash--Yay!https://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images/smilies/wink.png

Here are pics of the front and back of the quillows compressed, and front and back of the one for the little boy, Since there is 5-pic limit, I will do a second post for the two for the girls.

Hello, I'm back after a power-less week in formerly frigid Texas. Two days ago it was 80 degrees here, merely days after a -2 degrees weather! Psycho weather.
I survived due to K & her husband, who had camping stoves for cooking & a fireplace insert we huddled around for warmth. We all filled buckets with water prior to the big freeze, & then melted snow as needed. Our boil water order was just lifted last night, so things are getting back to normal. In fact, I sewed some on a UFO once power came back. K & I did manage to finish a denim top of her daughter's before we all lost power & it was one of the blankets I slept under during our freeze.
So far, I have a count of 20, if MotorcycleMad's quillows count as UFOs. I'll list them in a few days.

Conchalea, what an ordeal for you (and so many others). I'm glad things are getting back to normal.
