Conchalea; sometimes just taking the journey leads to great reward.

Got a queen size on the LA and ran 1 pass. It feels so good to get this out of the stacks of UFO's.

Lap quilt finished!

Petthefabric, seeing progress always makes me feel good, I would love to have a LA or Mid Arm but no room so just have to limit to smaller quilts or send them out. I was hoping for a picture of the finished quilt but weather is not cooperating today 43 and raining, March in MN https://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images...es/biggrin.png yesterday it was 61! Could be worse it's snowing at my brothers house. I will take a pic when the sun shines again. Now to finish cutting the test quilt and work on a UFO from 2013

Dedemac: Congratulations on your finish! We had a couple of small hail spurts along with quick rain bursts, I agree to March in MN. Grrr!

Got the quilting finished. Now the binding.

Finished! Why it became a UFO: I don't like the quilting as much as designing and there was so much fabric calling my name.
Why I finished it. I want to clean up my LA room from the stacks of UFO's.
Attachment 632199 Attachment 632200 . The design elements were taken from these 2 books.

Well done pettf! It looks like you have to good resources to refer to. Isn't Judy Hopkins the author of "it's okay if you sit on my quilt"or something like that?

Another church UFO checked off the list...a small one made of poly knit squares tied by the ladies last Monday...one more to bind.

Yay, another two for March!

petthefabric, I love your purple and green with the large prints - very pretty!

pettthefabric: Wow! Beautiful and now off your UFO list.

oksewglad: Awesome to the church UFO! I had to smile when you said poly knit because my church group just did a top made of polyester. Oh my! The giggles, shaking of the heads, etc, because the squares were a variety of greens and sewn very haphazardly with crooked seam widths. Sometimes, we get tops like this one. 🤷‍♀️

Still no UFO’s for me since January. I’m hopeful for a couple of finishes yet this month but other quilt projects are calling me.

Connie, my poly squares were more of the orange, pink and brown varietyhttps://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images...es/biggrin.png and crooked seams!
