FWIW everyone worries about how the originator will like the work done, and how the next quilter will handle what you did! But the whole fun of a Round Robin is the unexpected. In one RR I participated in, the only prompt was "Make it even better!", and that was a lot of fun.

When I get a RR to work on I have found a few things that help frame my thinking about how to approach that next round (apart from any prompt given):

    1. Play with scale
    2. Which colour in the piece has been under-used and how can I either add more or emphasize what is there?
    3. Can I push the composition off centre? (that usually adds interest)
    4. If there is a lot of linear, straight line components, can I add curves/circles? or vice versa

Oh and one tip for photographing: stand close enough to your finished round such that the piece fills the frame. That will look great in the final slide show.
Thanks for the tips and encouragement WW! I hope to relax into this a bit as we go on....

Ibex, I know life has dealt you a lot right now so if you are late with the "flinging" I'm okay with not having a full month to work on it. I wouldn't take a full month anyway - it would make me too nervous not to have it done and out the door as soon as possible. I know each successive round is going to take longer, but it's early in the adventure so I have high hopes in it not getting too intense yet.
All the best to you and your family.

Joyce, Thank you for being so kind. I will be flinging my flimsy tomorrow. I'll send you (c joyce and watson ONLY) a picture after I find the cord to transfer the picture off my phone. I am sending it overnight mail so you don't have to agonize long.

Has everyone else gotten their newest flimsy? Please send me a PM if not.

Happy December everyone. Hug your loved ones an extra few times if you haven't already.

For some reason I couldn’t find my link for today’s meeting. Could somebody please send me the email that has the link? I must have deleted it last month.

Yiaya, the zoom is tomorrow morning. If that's the meeting you're talking about, you haven't missed it. It starts at 9am mountain time zone

    But..there is no email link
I went to letsquilttogether.com and clicked on my classes, and it says a link will be posted there, but I don't see it yet.
...the orientation video has all the info for the zooms

I'm still trying to find all my marbles. I went looking for the zoom meeting last friday... the 1st. Forgot it's the first Wednesday....not the first day each month
Hope everyone is excited about a new challenge.
