I just checked out the galleries. Only four other groups have all of the pictures submitted. Happy to see that ours was completed.

Shawnee, we can submit just the flimsy it doesn’t have to be quilted.

I didn’t include the group name on my tag. Hopefully I can resubmit it tomorrow. Or do you think I should just leave it? First picture in the lineup is kind of cool too; people will forget about it by the end!

Hard to believe that the deadline has arrived! I got my last two pictures loaded up just now. Added a simple white border and will quilt and play with later. I've sent and emails to the two folks that haven't posted the last two pictures needed. I'll keep checking my gmail account if you want me to to post them for you.

Beautiful finishes posted in that gallery by our little group! I still think ours were the best. :-)

The outer border is also the backing.
Looking forward to seeing everyone's start to finish. I am so impressed with everyone's imagination and talents displayed in all of them.
Did you get it quilted? We can post into the gallery even if it isn't completely quilted. I haven't had a chance to start quilting mine.

Shawnee -- your finish is precious. It looks completely quilted. Are you totally done?

Joyce I found your #7 in the QB Flinging Flimsies gallery and copied it into the final gallery, too. Wowza! Love that finished quilt.

Thimblebug -- the projects are so gorgeous! I am happy to see that some of the group has actually finished theirs! As soon as Ricky Tims has his last showcase featuring everyone's quilts on June 5. I suspect we will start posting all the beautiful renditions of our projects as soon as that final showcase happens. The galleries I was talking about in the threads above are the Ricky Tims course galleries. We are finally able to see what others have been doing in that class. I can't wait to show you all what directions my simple starter block morphed into. This team was loaded with great designers!

June 5 is taking forever to get here!!

Peckish, thank you for letting me know that the pictures were still visible. The QB Flinging Flimsies gallery has all the pictures in order. The final showcase gallery still has too many of the "wrong" pictures submitted. I suspect that will be fixed by our class on Wednesday morning.

Is anyone working on any new projects right now? I am working on little things -- no major new undertakings. I still need to get my flimsy quilted from this project before I start a new project.
