Anyone still reading? I have been putting my R&R top together and will have a pic in a day or so. Only the final top and bottom borders to go! I love those 16 patch-on-point borders.

I'm still reading. Would love to see your quilt Sewbizgirl. Mine is at the longarmer and won't be back until mid January. The boarders took a long time to balance and fit....

One of my long side borders fit perfectly and the other one needed 3/4” spacers added on either end. Don’t know what happened but with the diagonal setting I guess anything could have gone wonky. Haven’t done the short sides yet but I’m not going to fuss over them too much. I will post a picture as soon as I get those last two borders on.

I'm still reading the new posts. I made the blocks and the 16 patches. Then life got in the way. LOL!

I've had a setback. Thought I made the right number of 16 patches, but when I went to do my final 2 borders tonight, I found I was 4 short. Just making those 4 ate up a load of time. Hope to resume making borders tomorrow.

For those of you that have finished, what did you do if your borders didn't come out the right length? I added some fillers on one of mine, and the other one fit fine. That means it's maybe gonna look wonky and not line up from left to right? I know my last two borders are going to come out short too, because I measured.
