Where they the ones from Wittles? I actually liked their browns more then any of the others. Browns have grown on me.

givio I was inspired to do so after seeing theones on the board. Most I do not fussy cut, loose too much fabric.

No, not Whittles. I picked them out on Thousands of Bolts. I'll have to look at what Whittles has.

Thanks. Had two kinds of chemo yesterday. I'm ok today but just a bit shaky on my feet. So I'm working in my sewing rooms. Sorting and putting away. Worked an hour then had to rest. Now I'm ready to get busy again. Got my Civil Wars and Batiks arranged to where I can easily reach them. The ventilated shelving you see above them goes all the way around 3 sides of my room and holds pillow forms, shredded foam, fiber fill, and batting, etc. Today I'm just trying to get my fabrics back where they belong and find new or better home for some. That job will take days at the speed I can work now, but at least some done is better than none. I'm going to make my
block next, then go sort more fabrics. I know you like pictures so I will post this one
then post my block when its done.

I was thinking of you, too. I posted my browns from Whittles brown/grab bag and they were all lovely. Not sure what the post number is and it won't let me go look until I post this. I'm sorry you are disappointed with yours. You may be surprised once you start pairing them with others. I'd love to see what you got. Can you post them? I want to buy more browns.

These are the browns I got from Thousands of Bolts. I had browns but I needed more of the darker ones. These are ok... I will use them even if I don't love them. Sorry the pic is so shadowy. I was trying to take the pic in the natural light by the window. The two on the left side look greenish but they aren't really green.
